Ok ladies here is the deal… I’m about to propose. I would ask her friends for opinions but I for some reason feel like they will spoil my surprise.
Anyway, I need your opinion, I just bought her this ring:

It is a 14K bridal set with round cut center diamond set in prong and pave set on double shank. (The jeweler told me that). It is a 1Ct weight however, with the rest of the Diamonds it totals 2.65. The gold band will be replaced by the 14k white gold, that is the only difference.
My girlfriend is not into diamonds as much because she is against the whole "Blood Diamond" deal, but I’m purchasing a no conflict Diamond. I have however covered all my bases… if she insists in getting a lab created diamond I’m able to return the stone to the jeweler at no cost no questions asks! Don’t ask me how I got them to do that… I guess I’m smooth! LOL!
SOOOO What do you all think? HELPPPPPPP!!!

I was concerned about this myself, but my sister thinks she wont mind the small little ones… and if she does, the jeweler said we can order moissanite or still get the lab created ones.
I’m nervous to give it to her… I’m not nervous about my plan just wondering if she’s going to like it.

I purchased this ring from a not so famous jeweler here in Dallas, Texas… they work with Canadian Diamonds who are supposed to be conflict free diamonds. I don’t have his card on me (I have to hide all that stuff, my girlfriend is pretty sneaky) but I will try and post his information later on.

its a very beautiful ring. But you said that she not into diamonds. The ring has lots of them on there. What about getting a ring with just one diamond? i would personally love the ring but since she is not into diamonds she might not like that many. BTW congrats!

If I’m honest, I don’t like it as I prefer ring that that aren’t as bling- but everyone is different, have a look at the rings she already has and get a ring in the style she wears.
If you really want to impress her get a tiffany engagement ring. But to be honest even if my bf proposed with a crappy cheap ring I wouldn’t say no, its not about how much the ring costs, its the love you share together thats more important.

Sweets, my hubby was drunk on the bathroom floor when he proposed to me (through a crack in the door) there was NEVER a ring and yet ten years later we are still goin’ strong! Trust me, she will LOVE the ring and she will love you! You sound like an EXTREMELY thoughtful guy with a HEART of gold. My only advice to you is, my hubby still opens doors for me, even after being married for ten years, do the same for her and she will ALWAYS know that you respect her!!

Absolutely stunning. My only contribution on top of what others would say is that it is quite wide – not a problem at all but if she has small fingers and not much space between the start of her finger to the first knuckle, it might just be a little wide for her. Either way, it is a truly exceptional ring and good choice changing the gold to white gold (I think it would look better).
You are too sweet and that Ring is absolutely gorgeous. If she doesn’t like it, she is crazy. However, I know several girls who have other stones than diamonds for their engagement rings. Two of them are sapphires. I would give her the ring as is right now and let her know that if she doesn’t like the stone that you are able to take it back and replace it with something she would like more. But just go ahead and ask her. She probably won’t even care. I didn’t want to pick out my ring, i had just always dropped hints about the type of rings I liked and my husband did an awesome job in picking mine out. I couldn’t say no. It is a "Beautiful" ring. And I truly hope she is pleased with your decision. I would be, that’s for sure. I love diamonds and gem stones.
If you knew before hand her feeling on what your calling blood diamonds, then maye you should have decided on something a little different… If she likes the look of diamonds, but not the fact of the mining of them, maybe you should have chosen a lab created stone…. I personally think when she see’s the set, she will be Blown Away. It is Very unique and classy. But you also must take her feelings into consideration. But a wedding ring signifies so much. Especially the engagement ring. It is special to the woman, but to the guy, he seeks to find what she likes and his feelings towards her. I personally believe if she were that much against diamonds, she wouldn’t even want a lab created stone. So I believe your okay. Best of Luck…
